Personal touch is exactly what this placement service is! The owner Bruce, takes great pride in making sure you've selected the best board and care for your loved one. As an introduction to himself, he spent a lot of time on the phone explaining what he does, his qualifications and what we were looking for in a board and care. Then, he escorted us to three homes, but was willing to take us to more if we wanted. My mom was reluctant to go for a short term stay. Bruce spent time easing her fears. Because I had to make this placement in a emergency situation, the doctor could not get my paperwork in order to admit her on time. Bruce negotiated that for me and then went to my doctor's office to pick up and then deliver it to the care home, because I wasn't able to!!!! Amazing! While there, he checked in on my mom, played word searches with her and made sure she was doing alright. He constantly kept in contact with me while I was away and made me feel at ease leaving my mom for a few weeks. He is kind, considerate and a very hard worker. I would absolutely recommend Bruce and Personal Touch to anyone looking for a board and care. He's the best!
We were fortunate to work with Bruce during a very difficult time for our family. He guided us through the process of getting my father, who was living with Alzheimer’s, into home hospice care and later consulted with us on moving him into a board and care facility he personally vetted out on our behalf. His extensive knowledge of hospice, combined with his warm, friendly manner made everything feel less overwhelming. But what stood out even more was his genuine compassion. Bruce took the time to listen, answer our many questions, and make sure we felt supported every step of the way. He gave us the confidence to make the best choices for my dad’s care. We're so deeply grateful for his guidance and the kindness he showed our family, and I can’t recommend Bruce highly enough to any family navigating the challenges of Alzheimer’s and elder care.
Bruce helped my husband and I immensely when we had no idea where to begin with helping my mother in law find a caring and wonderful home. We were so relieved to get that help so we could also focus on my father in law in the hospital as well. Being from out of state it meant so much to have Bruce give us so much advice, not only on placing mom in care that she needed but also all of the many other hurdles we needed to get in place quickly in order to properly care for them. Bruce was so very caring to mom as well, we could tell he has many years experience helping the elderly and their families! I highly recommend Bruce in time of need with aging parents or loved ones.

Bruce was fabulous. He really takes the time to know his clients, their needs, and works to match the individuals with care facilities that work for the person and their family. I received personalized service from Bruce. He personally tours the prospective facilities (homes) with clients and helps families make very tough decisions on placing a loved one in long-term care. He only works with a select number of providers that he has vetted and feels they provide the proper care for elderly family members.
